This Volunteer Agreement demonstrates how we value our volunteers.  We want to assure you that we appreciate your contribution to our organization.  We are dedicated to ensuring that you have a quality volunteer experience which is both productive and rewarding.

 

 

Cakes for Kids Winnipeg commits to the following:

• We will not share your contact information i.e. phone, e-mail, address without your knowledge and permission.

• To assign you with a contact person who will provide you with regular guidance and act as a ‘go-to’ within the organization.

• To provide adequate information and training so you may meet the requirements of your volunteer role. 

• To be receptive to any comments and feedback from all of our volunteers.

• To value and recognize our volunteers as a significant resource in achieving the goals of Cakes for Kids Winnipeg. 

 

 

The volunteer baker commits to the following:

• Baking and delivering a minimum of four cakes per year. 

• To provide Cakes for Kids Winnipeg with your current contact information.

• To provide a photo of each cake to Cakes for Kids Winnipeg.  **See below for detailed Photo/Video Release information.

• Following routine food safety practices.  For more information, click here to view the Food Donation Act in Manitoba.

• To meet time and task commitments and to provide sufficient notice when not available. 

 

We know that volunteers are busy people!  To take a break from volunteering or to end your role with Cakes for Kids Winnipeg, simply e-mail cakesforkidswinnipeg@gmail.com  Cakes for Kids Winnipeg may terminate a volunteer for failure to meet the above commitment or if they act in an offensive or inappropriate manner.

 

**Photo/Video Release

I give permission to Cakes for Kids Winnipeg, and/or parties designated by Cakes for Kids Winnipeg to use images of my cakes or self within my volunteer role, with or without my name, in all forms of media, for any and all promotional purposes including publicity, illustration, advertising, and Web content.
